1933 – 1995Ronnie Kray (1933-1995)Died 17 March 1995, aged 61Ronnie Kray, along with his twin brother Reggie, led the Kray twins, one of the most notorious organized crime gangs in London's East End during the 1950s and 1960s. He was convicted of murder in 1969 and spent the rest of his life in prison or Broadmoor psychiatric hospital. The Krays became enduring figures in British popular culture.
