1944 – 1983Dennis Wilson (1944-1983)Died 28 December 1983, aged 39Dennis Wilson was an American musician and the drummer of the Beach Boys, the only member of the band who was an actual surfer. He drowned off Marina del Rey, California, becoming the first Beach Boy to die. He was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the band.
