1906 – 1988John Carradine (1906-1988)Died 27 November 1988, aged 82John Carradine was an American character actor who appeared in more than 340 films across six decades, including Stagecoach and The Grapes of Wrath. He was a founding patriarch of the Carradine acting family. He continued working in film until shortly before his death.
